Dima74, thanks for the information, its clear you have a great understanding of the MB systems here! Your response sparked a couple of additional questions you might be able to answer, apparently I have a lot to learn about these MB systems:ġ) does the ECU ‘lock’ when the counts reaches zero, then you need the high powered tools you have described to ‘unlock’ the ECU so the engine can be started, do I understand this correctly?Ģ) how about when the check DEF level warning display first comes on, will one of the scan tools (like the Autel MD808PRO ) be able to clear this condition? I think this might be important since once you refill the DEF, the level sensor does not always readily register the new level of DEF.
